It has been a while since I blogged. The Lord has been teaching me and growing me up. I’m being challenged to follow hard after God. I need to spend more time in the Word. I am enjoying listening to Alistair Begg’s Truth for Life podcast. It is a great way to spend my drive to work. I’ve been blessed and challenged to be on the board of directors of Arts Alive. I’ve been praying about how to be more involved at Arts Alive and the Lord opened the door. It has challenged me to pray and seek the Lord more and more.
Work has been going well. I’m enjoying serving the Lord there. We have a bi-weekly prayer meeting it is a great blessing. I’m serving again as secratery of the local Education Office Professionals and earned my Professional Standards Program certificate. I’m also on the district’s classified staff committee and enjoying serving there.
Church is great. I’m greatly encouraged and challenged by the expository teaching. Worship has been sweet with the addition of more strings and better equipment. Home group has been good with getting to know the families and digging into the word and answering questions. I’m looking foward to going on a mission trip back to Colombia. The Lord is doing great things there. I ready to serve there and know that my safety has always been in His hands.
God is awesome. I’m looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do in 2009 in this world and in my life.

That’s so great that you’ll be going back to Colombia. It’s neat how many of us who went back in 2002 have been (or are going back) since. It’s changed down there, but not so much that it is unrecognizable.
