Thanks for the update!  Yes, LONG over due, but appreciated by those of us who are still faithful to xanga.
– You just got a whispered prayer from me to the Lord concerning your family.  I felt God saying, “Behold, I am with you always”  .  Keep the updates coming, even if they are brief and infrequent.

Tuesday June 16, 2009

Well I’m blogging less these days since I’m on twitter and am on Facebook.  This year has really been a challenging one.  The Lord has been calling me to walk a more balanced life.  He has been calling me to to eat more balanced and exercise more.  But a lot of it is spiritual.  I have been challenged to spend more time in prayer.  The idea of praying throughout the day.  It has been good.  Jesus has also been getting me ready.  I still don’t know for what but I feel like there are going to be some changes coming.  It will be exciting to see.
I also had the great pleasure to return to Colombia on a mission trip.  It was great to go back and serve there.  Out of all my mission trips, Colombia, is the country I feel most connected to.  The community and mission there are amazing.  When I’m there I feel used by the Lord and blessed.  I’m slowly saving to got back with church next March.
It has also been a challening year because of two home goings.  My Grandmother Allred and my Aunt Mary Ann both when home to be with the Lord.  Grandmother was some what expected but still hard.  I’m very grateful that the Lord allowed me to speak at her funeral.  He gave the words and I pray they helped others.  I know it helped me.  My Aunt Mary Ann’s home going was less expected and quick.  I could not speak at the funeral but the Lord gave me some words to share that the pastor shared.  Both sides of the family are dealing with the changes and challenges.  We could all use your prayers.
Well that’s the quick update.  Please feel free to contact me.
