Yum, Red Robin! We have one right around the corner from our apartment here. Glad to hear your grandmother is doing better. Happy b-day!

Saturday November 10, 2007

I slept in until around 7 this morning.  I got up and had breakfast and a good quiet time.  At 8, I went downstairs and put in 3 loads of laundry.  I did some odds and ends after laundry was put up and grabbed a shower.  I watched a movie this afternoon.  Dad & Mom got her a little after 4 today.  We headed over to Alamance crossing for supper.  We had supper at Red Robin.  Then we went and check out several shops.  We had tea and coffee in Barns & Noble.  Then we headed back.  I checked my cell phone voice mail and had 2 messages.  One was from Marg.  She sang me a happy birthday (early) song.  It was a nice evening with Mom & Dad.  I’m glad they could come down.  My birthday gift from them was some food from their church’s fall bazaar and a dust ruffle for my bed.  I needed it to cover up my box spring.  Plus I got some cool Lock-n-Lock containers from my Grandmother.   She is doing well.  She is out of the hospital and in a rehab/assisted living location.  They love her there.
It was also very cool when we were in B&N there was a group of African-American guys sitting across from us.  They were Christians and were encouraging each other with scripture.  It is good to see men encouraging and sharpening each other in the Word.
