It was a good day at work. It was a steady but praise the Lord not in an overloaded way. I headed out of work a little early and went to West End and watched “The End of The Spear” with some of you. I thought it was a good move, but do agree that it could have been longer and let us get to know the missionaries better. Afterwards 8 of us headed across the street to get supper at the Chinese place and had lots of fun .

About the author: I am a Christian who desires to serve the Lord daily. I enjoy blogging, photography, working with Mac’s, and enjoying music and TV. I have a heart to serve my church and on the mission field.

We went to see it tonight too. I enjoyed it… especially the ending. The mid part was slow if you werent intrigued with the story (i liked it though). I agree with you about getting to know the missionaries better. that would have been a great addition. have you seen beyond gates of spendor? its a documentary done about the whole thing. it is more of a ‘get to know the missionaries’ than the movie was.

No I have not see the documentary, but several in our group have. I’ll have to watch it some time.
