It was a quiet first day back. I worked on some scheduling and discipline paperwork. I got to talk with the Technology Specialist for the elementary side. She had been home to Ireland over Christmas and then got a bad bug. It was nice to see her back up and working. I was blessed today with my first check for the Africa trip and a couple of promises to help. I spend some time over lunch checking out a cool website on Kenya. It is exciting to see God’s faithfulness in enabling me to go, but even more exciting to daily yield myself to Him. I pray that this trip will be a blessing for all who go and to all we come in contact with. I pray that the Lord uses each one of us for His glory!
Sunday I found out that Rob Mancuso may be going with us. He was a year ahead of me at Elon. He lead a men’s Bible study my sophomore year and was part of a religious life house my junior year. I spent most of my time there hanging out with him and the other guys. My parents would call there before my own room to find me :-D. I hope he is able to come. I miss him and his wife. I wish they lived closer.
