My last day of Christmas break. I slept in until 8, but I couldn’t have slept any longer. Someone was mowing & using a leaf blower. We get all kinds of fun noises downtown. Street sweepers at 6 am, postal trucks at all hours, police & fire, and many more 🙂 . I took down all my Christmas decorations and put back up my normal stuff. I relaxed and started watching the “Lost” season 1 DVD set I got for Christmas. It was a good way to end the break. The Lord blessed my break and I’m ready to head back to work.

I remember those sounds… especially the train. That’s one thing that I actually miss – that blasted train. Haha… when we moved to Elon its path was close enough for me to hear it, and now that I’m in Lynchburg it goes straight through the campus, a stone’s throw from my dorm. Glad that you had a restful break!!
