    It was a wonderful day.  I headed into Chapel Hill early today.  Several restaurants in Chapel Hill & Carrboro work with the Public School foundation each year.  Parents buy staff members of the schools tickets for a breakfast.  I got my breakfast and headed into work.  Work went very smoothly today even with an assembly and other odds and ends going on during the day.
    After work I headed out to Lake Camack for Micah & Kari’s pre-wedding fellowship event.  It was a great location and there were a ton of new people to meet.  A great deal of their friends from Verity came along with family on both sides and people from this area.  We had fun playing volleyball, Frisbee, some played baseball and basketball.  We had a great meal thanks to the men grilling chicken and all the families who brought things.  After supper, we had an open mic time for people to share funny stories and encouragement with Micah & Kari.   It was great to hear some funny stories and get to know people better.   Then everyone had time to play, talk and relax.  It was beautiful weather and a great time.  It was such a blessing to be around so many godly people and catch up with friends.  The whole evening was a joy.  I’m so glad the Lord has me where I am.  God is awesome!
