I praise the Lord for his giving me rest and sleep.  I had been sick with sinus stuff the last few days.  I was so glad to feel well enough to go today.  We took 50+ people from Antioch Community Church and Arts Alive friends to Boone.  I ended up having to drive and I just praise the Lord for help my 4Runner get up those huge hills on the way to Boone.  We got to the Boone location of Operation Christmas Child a little after 9:30.  We went through orientation and then headed out to the floor.  They had changed the set up this year.  It used to have 2 areas.  One area for sorting by age and collecting money & checks.  The other area for inspecting the shoe boxes and packing them.  Now they had consolidated everything into around 8 lines.  I spent the day taking the shoe boxes and packing them in the big boxes.  It is not easy to get 14 shoe boxes in one box.  We had a blast.  Today all the boxes we did are going to India.  Plus today Franklin Graham was there and they were filming a new promo for next year.  Jean Parrish from church was filmed along with one of the lines with several of our group in them.  It was a blessing to pray for the boxes and the children.  We also got to hear stories of how they have impacted the children & their families.  It was awesome to hear about kids and parents coming to Christ because of these gifts.  It was a great day and I’m so thankful and grateful to the Lord for letting us serve!

My photo’s are not great, but plenty of people had there cameras with them.  Here are a few of mine.
