Saturday November 17, 2007 - Notes From the Journey

Saturday November 17, 2007

Well I slept in until about 8 today.  I got up and had breakfast and quiet time.  I got dressed and walked up the street to the Arts Alive float and helped John a little with it.  Then we walked back over to Arts Alive.  John asked me if I wanted to run sound for the float and I said sure.  They even had a t-shirt for me.  The Burlington Christmas Parade was a blast.  It was a lot of fun to run sound and wave to the people along the way.  I saw a lot of people I knew.  Afterwards, we loaded up all the sound equipment and a lot of people in the truck and went back to the studio.
I relaxed this afternoon and did a few odds and ends.  This evening was the 2nd New Directions Thanksgiving banquet.  It went very well.  It was good to see a lot of friends and familiar faces there, but I couldn’t spent much time talking.  Well I’m going to grab a shower and hit the sack!
