It was a great weekend. We left Thursday morning to head to Emerald Isle for the 2007 Antioch Men’s Retreat. We had a great trip down. We had 2 houses one ocean front duplex and one on the other side of the road. It was a huge house where we cooked, met, and spent most of our time. People arrived all day Thursday and some on Friday. We each shared a little about ourselves and the new guys (to the church) shared their testimonies. Because of the weather, we spent more time together and had some great times of worship. We talked about fatherhood, listening to the voice of God, and evangelism. There were some great and encouraging conversations. It was such a blessing to get to know some of the guys better. I had a blast helping Todd cook the chili Friday. It kitchen was great. It was great cooking and having the room filled with with worship with several guitars and all of us singing in harmony.
