    Watching “The War” on PBS has been inspiring, hard, and challenging.  I hear the stories of the men & women who served at home and abroad.  I am amazed at the sacrifices everyone made to ensure that the war was won.  I’ve always had a deep respect of the men & women of that generation.  Everyone did their part and fought habits, racism, beliefs and anything else that prevented them from serving.  It is so wild to think about how the world has changed since then and how the U.S. has changed since then.  It reminds me that as believers we are in the midst of a war as well.  We must not be lulled into a peace time mentality.  We must be ready to serve the Lord where He has us each moment of the day.
